The Central Eastern Region has many sites worth visiting and great motorcycling roads.

With The Great Trail,Rivers, Canals and railroads coming thru allot happenned in the area.

Some of my favorite sites - These sites are ones I have visited and wondered why so few people now about them. Click on the images to the left to head to a page detailing the sites.

Ft. Laurens

Located in Bolivar ; Ft Laurens is one of the few revolutionary war sites in the state. The fort was built here at the intersection of the Tuscarawas river and the great trail. Later the canal came thru and then Rt 77. This has been a busy plot of land.  Today it is a nice park featuring a museum, there are many markers explaining the sites history. Its a great place for a picnic or just to stretch your legs.
