Who is Buried in Grants Tomb ?

The answer is no one. President Grants final resting place is in his tomb in New York City. However he is not buried or it would be a grave.  His Tomb is very similar to President Garfields and the Coffins sit above ground. It is a national Historic Landmark and more information can be found at

 .

President Grant does not have a Library;

His papers are available at http://www.loc.gov/rr/mss/text/grant.html.

Currently the collection resides in Missisipi. He did write a book covering his experiences in the Civil War and his presidency; you can download it free at http://www.gutenberg.org/files/4367/4367-pdf/4367-pdf.pdf

Now that the tomb question is out of the way here are some sites in Ohio for the general.

His Birthplace, Boyhood Home and Schoolhouse are all maintained by the Ohio Historical Society and are in Point Pleasant. The Link Below will take you to places these sites are in the southwestern region.
