Who is Buried in Grants Tomb ?
The answer is no one. President Grants final resting place is in his tomb in New York City. However he is not buried or it would be a grave. His Tomb is very similar to President Garfields and the Coffins sit above ground. It is a national Historic Landmark and more information can be found at
.
President Grant does not have a Library;
His papers are available at http://www.loc.gov/rr/mss/text/grant.html.
Currently the collection resides in Missisipi. He did write a book covering his experiences in the Civil War and his presidency; you can download it free at http://www.gutenberg.org/files/4367/4367-pdf/4367-pdf.pdf
.
