As I was adding the McKinley Museum I realized how good their collection was and while they have a good website I decided to do a page of my own. the fact that this site has been added to more themes than any other gives you an idea of how broad their collection actually is. This is a great place to visit with the museum and monument in the same park..

My last visit here was for one of my nieces events. What is really neat is that everyone found something fun and interesting in the museum.
Points of Interest are:
- Dinosaurs - They have fossila and animatronic dinosaurs on display
- Street of Shops - this is a period town that you walk thru and see displays.
- Planetarium
- McKinley Collection - A very good gallery on The President includes animatronic figures of the President and First lady. They explain the display they are in.
- Display covering 200 years of Stark County History.

The Museum is easy to find as it sits near the monument and can be seen from Rt 77. As you approach the south side of Canton you will see signs for the Memorial and Timken Mercy Hospital which is very close. The GPS Coordinates are N40.80644 W81.39260 and the monument and Museum show as attractions on my Garmin.
