Ride a Real Canal Boat and see a Lock.

Canal Fulton features two parks along the Ohio and Erie canal..   There is a working canal boat that gives rides between the two sites. The parks are about 1 mile apart.

The Visitors Center is home to the Canal Boat and they also play a video covering the history of the canal.

Lock 4 Park has a lock and locktenders house. The park is nicely landscaped and includes a spillway.

The Park entrance is just south of  the bridge that crosses the canal on RT 93

Clean in the visitors center  Porta Potties at the Lock 4 Park.

Vending  machines at both sites. Restaraunts and Ice Creams within walking distance of  the visitors center.

Both sites have plenty of paved parking spots.

There is a playground and Baseball field by the vistor centers. The visitors center has a canal boat on static display to explore 

Cautions

The canal is not fenced off It is very easy to fall in at spots.
